Intellectual Property of the Site
The LATEREGO website in its entirety — including, by way of example and without limitation, its structure, design, layout, graphic interfaces, front-end source code, texts, images, illustrations, icons, logos, graphic elements, photographs, videos, animations, sounds and any other published content — is an intellectual work of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. and/or its suppliers and licensors, and is protected by Law 633/1941 on copyright, as subsequently amended, as well as by EU and international intellectual property legislation.
The word mark LATEREGO and its logos and distinctive signs are trademarks owned exclusively by Sesterzi 2 S.r.l., registered or in the process of registration under the Italian Industrial Property Code (Legislative Decree 30/2005) and the European legislation on EU trademarks. Any unauthorised use of such distinctive signs is expressly prohibited.
- The total or partial reproduction of the Site's content is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l.
- The copying, distribution, transmission, publication or any other unauthorised commercial or non-commercial use of the Site's content is prohibited.
- The use of the LATEREGO brand, logos or any distinctive sign attributable to Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. without explicit written authorisation is prohibited.
- Framing or embedding of the Site's pages into other websites or applications without authorisation is prohibited.
Any infringement of the intellectual property rights of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. will be prosecuted in the competent civil and criminal courts pursuant to Law 633/1941 and Legislative Decree 30/2005.
Ownership of the Algorithm and 3D Rendering System
The distinctive service offered by LATEREGO is based on a proprietary system for the automatic processing of images and the generation of three-dimensional models (hereinafter the "3D Rendering System" or "Algorithm"). This section defines the intellectual property rights relating to that technology and the usage restrictions for Site users.
Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. is the exclusive and absolute owner of the source code, the software architecture, the processing algorithms, the computational models, the configuration parameters and every other technical component that constitutes LATEREGO's automatic 3D Rendering System. This system, in its entirety and in each of its components, constitutes an intellectual work under Law 633/1941 (Italian Copyright Law, "LDA") and Directive (EU) 2009/24/EC on the legal protection of computer programs, transposed into Italian law by Legislative Decree 518/1992.
Definition of the Protected System
The protected 3D Rendering System includes, without limitation:
- The source code and object code of the image-processing algorithm;
- The logic for analysing and segmenting the photographs uploaded by users;
- The computational model for converting photograph → 3D brick model;
- The automated procedures for optimising, computing and assembling the model;
- The system for generating and displaying the Rendering preview for the customer;
- Any update, derivative, subsequent version or improvement of the aforementioned system.
Expressly Prohibited Conduct
Pursuant to Art. 64-bis of the Italian Copyright Law and Directive (EU) 2009/24/EC, the following acts are expressly prohibited without the prior written authorisation of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l.:
- Reverse engineering, decompilation or disassembly of the 3D Rendering System;
- Any attempt to extract, derive, reproduce or imitate the algorithm or its essential components;
- The automated analysis of network traffic, APIs or System outputs in order to reconstruct its logic or internal parameters;
- The creation of derivative systems, secondary works or competing implementations based — even partially — on knowledge or analysis of the System;
- The unauthorised transfer, sublicensing or disclosure to third parties of confidential information relating to the 3D Rendering System.
Customer's Rights over the Rendering
The Rendering models generated by the Algorithm on behalf of the Customer constitute derivative works created by the proprietary System of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. from the photograph provided by the user. Following the purchase, the Customer acquires only the right to receive the physical product (brick set) corresponding to the confirmed Rendering. By purchasing the physical product, the Customer does not acquire any right in the method, the technology, the algorithm, the code, or the digital outputs of the 3D Rendering System as such.
Consequences of Violations. Any attempt at unauthorised access, reproduction, reverse engineering, extraction or unauthorised use of the 3D Rendering System constitutes a serious infringement of the intellectual property rights of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. and entails civil liability for damages pursuant to Arts. 158 et seq. of the Italian Copyright Law, as well as, where applicable, criminal liability under Art. 171-bis of the Copyright Law and the further criminal provisions in force concerning computer crimes (Legislative Decree 231/2001, Law 547/1993).
Disclaimer — Lawful Use of the Site
Use of the LATEREGO Site is permitted exclusively for lawful purposes and in full compliance with the legislation in force, this Legal Notice, the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the rights of third parties. The Customer is solely responsible for their use of the Site and for the content they upload.
In using the Site, it is expressly forbidden to:
- Upload images without rights or authorisation: upload photographs or visual content for which you do not hold ownership or the necessary usage authorisations (see Art. 9 of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale);
- Images of minors without consent: upload photographs depicting minors without the prior written consent of the parent or legal guardian, in compliance with Arts. 96-98 of the Copyright Law and Art. 8 GDPR;
- Unlawful or offensive content: upload or transmit obscene, pornographic, violent, discriminatory, defamatory, racist content, content harmful to human dignity, or content contrary to public order and public decency;
- Unauthorised access to systems: attempt to access, modify or compromise LATEREGO's computer systems, servers, databases or networks through hacking, cracking, SQL injection, exploits or any other unauthorised method;
- Automated scraping and crawling: use bots, spiders, scrapers, crawlers or automated tools to collect data, content, images or information from the Site without prior written authorisation;
- Fraudulent activities: use the Site for fraudulent purposes, to commit scams, to collect other people's personal information (phishing) or for any unlawful activity under Italian and EU law;
- Spam and unwanted communications: use the Site or its contact channels to send unsolicited commercial communications in bulk (spam) or any form of harassing communication;
- Intellectual property infringement: use the Site or its content in a way that infringes the intellectual property rights of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. or of third parties, including trademarks, patents, copyright and trade secrets;
- Interference with the Site: introduce viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware or any other malicious code, or perform any act capable of compromising, damaging or altering the functioning of the Site, its security systems or its technological infrastructure.

LEGO® is a registered trademark of The LEGO Group (Billund, Denmark). Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. and the LATEREGO brand are in no way affiliated with, associated with, sponsored by, approved by or connected to The LEGO Group or its subsidiaries or affiliates.
The building bricks sold through the LATEREGO Site are products compatible with the LEGO® building system, but are not manufactured, distributed or authorised by The LEGO Group. The term "LEGO®-compatible" is used solely for technical descriptive purposes.

Limitation of Liability for Site Content
Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. undertakes to ensure the accuracy, completeness and updating of the information published on the Site. However, within the limits permitted by applicable law, the following is specified:
Accuracy of information. LATEREGO strives to keep the information on the Site accurate and up to date, but does not guarantee the absence of typographical errors, technical inaccuracies or unintentional omissions. The Site's content is provided "as is" and may be changed at any time without notice. Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. accepts no liability for direct or indirect damages arising from reliance on inaccurate information contained in the Site, except in cases of wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
Service availability. The Site may be temporarily unavailable or operate in a limited manner due to ordinary or extraordinary maintenance, technical updates, faults or events beyond the control of Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. (force majeure events). Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. is not liable for service interruptions that occur for reasons not attributable to its own wilful or grossly negligent conduct.
Third-party content. The Site may contain links, references or redirects to third-party websites, platforms or content. Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. has no control over such external content and does not endorse or guarantee its accuracy, lawfulness or availability. The inclusion of a link does not imply a recommendation or endorsement of the linked third-party site.
Technical compatibility. Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. does not guarantee that the Site is compatible with all devices, operating systems, browsers or technical configurations used by users. The use of up-to-date browsers is recommended for optimal browsing. Any malfunctions due to unsupported configurations are not attributable to Sesterzi 2 S.r.l.
Links to Third-Party Sites
The LATEREGO Site may contain hyperlinks to third-party websites, by way of example: payment gateways, carriers and couriers responsible for shipping, social media platforms, institutional or news sites.
Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. exercises no control over such external websites and is not responsible for their content, their privacy policies, the commercial practices they adopt, or their availability or security. The inclusion of a link to an external site does not imply any form of association, endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. in relation to the linked site or its content.
Access to and browsing of third-party sites reachable through links on the Site take place at the user's sole risk and responsibility. It is recommended that you check the privacy policies and terms of use of any third-party site visited.
Cookies and Personal Data
The processing of the personal data of users who browse and/or purchase through the LATEREGO Site is governed in full and in detail by the GDPR Privacy Policy published on the Site, prepared pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree 101/2018.
The use of technical, analytics and profiling cookies — as well as of any other tracking technologies that may be employed — is governed by the Cookie Policy published on the Site, pursuant to Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the provisions of the Italian Data Protection Authority.
Applicable Law and Competent Court
This Legal Notice is governed by Italian law and must be interpreted in accordance with it.
Non-consumer users (B2B / professionals). For any dispute relating to the interpretation, validity, performance or termination of this Legal Notice involving parties acting in the exercise of a business, commercial, craft or professional activity, the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Milan is established, with the express exclusion of any other court.
Consumer users. For disputes involving users acting as final consumers within the meaning of Art. 3 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Italian Consumer Code), the mandatory jurisdiction of the place of domicile or residence of the consumer applies, as provided by Art. 33(2)(u) of the same decree. Full reference is made to the section on applicable law and competent court contained in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale for the complete contractual rules.

Amendments to the Legal Notice
Sesterzi 2 S.r.l. reserves the right to modify, supplement or update this Legal Notice at any time, at its own discretion, in order to adapt it to any regulatory changes, developments of the Site or the service, or for any other reason deemed appropriate.
The amendments will take effect from the date of publication of the updated version on the Site, with an indication of the relevant date of entry into force in the introductory section of the document. The version in force is always the one published on the Site at the time of the user's access.
Users are therefore invited to consult this Legal Notice periodically to check for any updates. Continued use of the Site after publication of the changes implies acceptance of the updated Legal Notice.
